Mr. Martin, I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the box and saw my Rolex. It was more beautiful then the day my husband gave it to me. I'll have to admit it always lost a couple of minutes a month witch drove me nuts, but since I got it back from you it has kept perfect time. Your service was excellent. You are truly a master. You are more then welcome to use me as a reference. Thank you Anne Gremillion Palm Springs, California

Hello Eric, I received my watch today and I just can't say enough about the absolutely wonderful job you did servicing and restoring my watch. It looks better than I thought possible. The price of the service and your professional advice as to what my watch needed as preventive maintenance was well appreciated. I will definately return my watch to you for its regular servicing. In addition I have a friend with a tutone Rolex Datejust like mine that just "quit running" that I will be referring to you. My guess is they never though to have it serviced as did I with my Rolex. I now understand the importance as to keeping these fine crafted watches tuned to prevent pre-mature wear or to stop running as my friends Rolex did. Please feel free to add my name and e-mail to your growing list of compliments on the wonderful professional service that you offer. Thank You so much for a job well done! Sincerely, Robert Gaither Gig harbor, Washington February 5, 2007

Dear Eric, I received my restored GMT Master Rolex in the mail, perfectly packaged, three days ago. This 45 year old Rolex, which has been continuously worn around the globe, looks great and is keeping time perfectly. In the 259,200 seconds that have passed since the watch was returned to my wrist it has gained about one second. Following the several times the watch has been cleaned and adjusted over the years, I have never had such performance.
Thank you for your attention to detail and for your excellent work. I am very glad I found your website, learned of your work and and as a result later traveled to Sedona on vacation to meet you.
I would assure everyone who has a Rolex needing service or restoration that I found your website description of services to be 100% accurate. My personal observation is that you have the highest desire to achieve excellence in your profession. You certainly achieved that in my case and I'm very pleased to recommend you to anyone wishing top service for their Rolex. Sterling Hays Lt. Colonel, USAF (Ret)

Dear Eric, I hope my travel opportunities include Arizona in the foreseeable future so I can stop by and thank you personally for the superb restoration, complete service, adjustment and repair, including repair of the bezel and recontruction of the bracelet you performed on my 20+ year old Rolex Submariner that was damaged in a fall. I knew from checking with your other clients that I could expect a complete overhaul that would at least match that offered by a Rolex Service Center, but with personal and prompt attention as well. And indeed, I think the factory itself would be hard-put to match the excellence of your craftsmanship. In particular I was delighted to see that your restoration of the luminous material on the dial and hands doesn't look "restored." Rather, it looks like the dial when it was new in 1986. I also now understand this is an extraordinarily precise process that even Rolex does not take on -- they simply sell the consumer a new dial. And finally: the damaged bracelet: frankly, I thought it was well past restoration. but after your masterful work, it, too, would look comfortable and appropriate next to its brand new counterparts in a Rolex display case. I shall be sending along my wife's lady's oyster-date for your magic touch soon. With warmest respects and regards, Josef Holbert Juneau, Alaska (Other clients are welcome to contact me for references)

Dear Eric, Yesterday evening, I received both my husbands Rolex and my Tudor watch that you repaired for us. When I opened the securely, well-packed box, I was amazed and most delighted! You did a fabulous job&ldots;&ldots;not only in fixing them properly, but in making them look like new! My husband will also be delighted when I bring back his watch to him in New Zealand.
Our watches had become part of us and we loved them. However, after over 25 years of daily use, they were in pretty bad condition. My watch had been fixed by two different jewelers, locally. But, still it did not work well. My husbands watch was in such bad condition, no one would fix it. We had just about given up on our watches, until&ldots;..through one last effort, I found out about you through your website.
Each time I had questions and communicated with you, you replied quickly and with expertise. Obviously, you take your work seriously and with pride. Im really glad I sent our watches to you. For future watch or clock repairs, you are the only one we would consider, and we will highly recommend you to our friends and colleagues. THANKING YOU SINCERELY,
Lady Carla Davis

I wanted to do a short review of the work on my Sandoz '03 Sub by Eric Martin of EMW Watch Repair. A lot of you know that I purchased the Sandoz back in May for around $200. It's the typical Sub clone, but with the ETA 2824-2 gold plated movement, applied markers and a saphire crystal. Very similar to the Invicta 9937 with the exception of the Invicta having a much nicer bracelet.
One evening I noticed that the Sandoz had started running very fast. I had been working on the speakers of a guitar amp that I had just completed. The speakers have very large and powerful magnets. I must have somehow magnetized the watch. I had remembered that someone else had highly recommended Eric and I wrote to him. He promptly emailed back that he'd demagnetize, adjust the watch to 5 positions and chronometer spec, and pressure test the watch for $110 plus shipping. I thought that was an extremely good price as a local watch repairman had charged me $80 just to clean a watch.
I received the watch Tuesday of this week and promptly went about testing it. Crown up on the dresser over the first night, the watch kept perfect time not gaining or loosing! Crown down on the second night was -1sec. In total for the first day the watch didn't gain or loose any time. Last night with the watch face up was -1sec.
First of all, I can't believe how accurate the watch is. I knew that the 2824-2 could be adjusted to chronometer specs, but I've never been able to get one that close to zero! Furthermore...the watch is so close to zero in the various positions...all because of the 5 pos adjustments. It took Eric about a week to do the work (not counting the time it took in the mail back and forth).
It was well worth the $110 I spent. For a total of $310 I have a tightly adjusted chronometer. Where can you get a chronometer that's adjusted to 5 pos for $310 these days??
That's opened up a new set of possibilites for me as the Sandoz and Invictas now look much more attractive. What do you think...would it be worth it to you?? Eric's web address is below.

Eric, My refurbished Rolex arrived yesterday and it is fantastic, to say the least! I have worn it since it arrived and, in addition to looking like a new watch, it is keeping perfect time. I am sure that comes as no surprise to you being the master craftsman that you obviously are. My wife and I are so impressed with your work, prices and the speed in which you accomplish your magic that we would like to send her Lady Date Oyster Perpetual for service. In addition to whatever service you determine needs to be done she would also like to have the face changed to one that she can more easily read. Seems that she has trouble reading the gold on gold design of her current face. We have looked at the official Rolex web site in the hope that there would be different faces for her to choose from but that doesn't seem to be the case. Do you have a selection of faces to choose from or do you know where we can find what is available? I will wait to hear from you before shipping her watch to you. Thanks again for the wonderful job on my Rolex and I look forward to hearing from you. Ed
