Rolex Special
Rolex recommends service every 3-5
years, after this period of time the lubrication dries out causing
the watch to malfunction, resulting in the wear & tear of the
delicate parts of the movement.
The gaskets also dry out and lose
their viscosity as a result of debris, perspiration and contact with
water (humidity) that penetrates the delicate parts of the movement.
To ensure perfect sealing, we recommend to have the gaskets replaced
every 3-5 years.
We only use original Rolex parts.

Services offered in addition to
the overhaul, and unique to EMW Watch Repair:
restoration of the luminous
material on the dial & hands. We use 'luminova', which is the
same material that Rolex & Omega use in their Swiss factories.
The process of removing the old luminous material and re-applying
fresh luminous is meticulous work.
The aging of the dial due to
exposure to the elements, results in the discoloring, powdery texture
& loss of functionality of the luminous material, i.e. to read
the time in the dark.
